Thanks to your support, BCWF Political Action Alliance stood up for gun owners.
PAA may just be a mosquito, but we stand up for BC gun owners!
PAA ran newspaper ads in swing BC ridings ridiculing PM Trudeau’s firearms and crime policies.
We concentrated on Kelowna and the Fraser Valley, but we also ran ads in the Vancouver area, Kamloops, and the South Okanagan.
We helped four BC Liberals lose their pensions:
John Aldag (Cloverdale-Langley)
Dan Ruimy (Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge)
Jati Sidhu (Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon)
Steven Fuhr (Kelowna-Lake Country)
We elected solid Conservatives in 4 ridings defeating the Liberals!
Tamara Jansen (Conservative) beat John Aldag (Liberal) in Cloverdale-Langley
Marc Dalton (Conservative) beat Dan Ruimy (Liberal) in Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge
Brad Vis (Conservative) beat Jati Sidhu (Liberal) in Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon
Tracy Gray (Conservative) beat Steven Fuhr (Liberal) in Kelowna-Lake Country
Plus, we helped re-elect Conservatives in 4 other ridings.
Tako Van Popta (Langley Aldergrove)
Ed Fast (Abbotsford)
Dan Albas (Central Okanagan-Similkameen-Nicola– Kelowna-Lake Country)
Cathy McLeod (Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo)
Sadly, there were two BC ridings where, despite PAA ads, an anti-gun incumbent still managed to win re-election.
1. South Okanagan–West Kootenay, where Richard Cannings (NDP) was re-elected.
2. Fleetwood–Port Kells, where Ken Hardie (Liberal) was re-elected.
These MPs are not friends of the recreational firearms community.
We’ll need to keep fighting for our rights. Both Liberals and Conservatives. Too few MPs know enough about firearms laws or about responsible firearms owners.
Freedom isn’t free.
Never give up. Never, never, never, never, never give up.
